How to Check Your Marks and Grades in AP 10th Class Results 2023?

How to Calculate Your Marks from the Grade Points?

The BSEAP follows a grading system for the SSC exams. The students are awarded grade points (GP) for each subject based on their marks. The grade points range from 0 to 10, with 0 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. The grade points are then converted into grades from A1 to E based on a scale. The grades and their corresponding grade points are shown in the table below:

Grade

Grade Point

Marks Range

A1

10

91-100

A2

9

81-90

B1

8

71-80

B2

7

61-70

C1

6

51-60

C2

5

41-50

D1

4

35-40

D2

3

0-34

E (Fail)-1 (No Grade Point)-1 (No Marks Range)

To calculate your marks from the grade points, you need to multiply the grade point of each subject by 9.5 and add them up. For example, if your grade points are 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, and 4 for the seven subjects, then your marks are:

(10 x 9.5) + (9 x 9.5) + (8 x 9.5) + (7 x 9.5) + (6 x 9.5) + (5 x 9.5) + (4 x 9.5) = 95 + 85.5 + 76 + 66.5 + 57 + 47.5 + 38 = 465.5 out of 600.

How to Check Your Grades from the Marks?

To check your grades from the marks, you need to divide your marks by 9.5 and round off the result to the nearest integer. For example, if your marks are 465.5 out of 600, then your grade point is:

(465.5 / 9.5) = 49.0 (rounded off to the nearest integer)

You can then check the table above to find out your grade corresponding to your grade point. In this case, your grade is B1.

How to Apply for Revaluation or Recounting of Marks?

If you are not satisfied with your marks or grades in the AP SSC results 2023, you can apply for revaluation or recounting of marks within a specified period of time after the declaration of results. Revaluation means that your answer scripts will be rechecked by another examiner and any changes in marks will be updated in your result. Recounting means that your marks will be verified again and any errors in totaling or posting will be corrected.

To apply for revaluation or recounting of marks, you need to follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website of BSEAP - bse.ap.gov.in and click on the link that says "Revaluation/Recounting Application Form".

  • Fill in the required details such as your hall ticket number, name, district, school code, subject code, etc.

  • Select the option of revaluation or recounting for each subject that you want to apply for.

  • Submit the application form and take a printout of it for future reference.

  • You will receive a notification when your revaluated or recounted result is ready and you can download it from the website.

  • Note that revaluation or recounting of marks is not applicable for internal assessment marks or grades.
