[S13E9] The Power Of The Doctor

Other Daleks are already there, and seemingly working with the Master. The other Daleks suss them out and outsmarts the doctor, exterminating their own brother before the transfer is complete. The Doctor is held captive and teleported away. Yaz is left to control the Tardis herself, using a bunch of post-it notes to control it.

[S13E9] The Power Of The Doctor

So, we've just seen that when you watch Doctor Who: The Power of the Doctor, you will get more surprises than you'll expect. So as we say goodbye to Jodie Whittaker, in a special that will be "a massive roller coaster" by her own words, expect another doctor you didn't see coming.

The Toymaker has a long history with the Doctor. The character first debuted in 1966 opposite William Hartnell, where he was played by Michael Gough. Traditionally, the Toymaker is a powerful being who traps people in childish games where they're forced to compete for their freedom...games which are definitely rigged in the Toymaker's favor.

Last week I was surprisingly happy with the episode that unfolded. It was an interesting, complex task that required genuine brain power. The Apprentice built my hopes up slightly. Maybe the second half of the season will be stronger? After week 9 there is a strong possibility that the show may have saved itself. 041b061a72
